A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, I began my legal career serving as a legislative aide in the Maryland General Assembly and then as a judicial law clerk in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Maryland. Prior to entering private practice, I was an attorney for Verizon Communications, Inc., where I drafted and negotiated complex telecommunications contracts for large business customers.
In addition to my family law practice, I am an active volunteer attorney, working with the Montgomery County Bar Association Pro Bono Legal Services Organization and the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service of Maryland.
I am admitted to practice before the Maryland Bar as well as the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. I am a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Prince George's County and Montgomery County Bar Associations, and the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association.
